Genoa welcomes Ben Anderson of Neal Rosenthal Wines

Since the 1970’s, Neal Rosenthal has pursued his passion for fine wine and  has sought out and imported wines from a number of Europe’s greatest estates. The wines bearing the Rosenthal label have always stood for purity, sense of place, and honesty. Sommelier Michael Garofola and Genoa cordially invite you to an evening of food and wine with Ben Anderson of Neal Rosenthal Wines.
The meal will commence at 6:30 pm on Thursday, May 24thand sparkling wine and charcuterie followed shortly by a four course pre fixe menu high lighting the Pacific Northwest’s spring bounty with wines from Neal’s Northwestern Italian portfolio.
Dinner plus wine pairings for $110 excluding gratuity. Wines will be available for retail purchase through E&R Wines.

Dinner with Richard Betts, Master Sommelier

Join us Sunday, October 9th night for an evening that is sure to be fun, educational and mind blowing all at once. The world class Richard Betts will be dining with us and sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for the wines of ArPePe from the Valtellina region in northern Lombardia. The winery is, according to Betts, the Romanee Conti of the Valtellina. The five course dinner will be a special menu David Anderson and Daniel Mondok will be creating to pair with these stunning wines. $120 covers both food and wine. If you haven't snagged tickets yet for Thursday, September 22nd Indulge event mext week at the Jupiter Hotel, don't hesitate! David, Drew, Daniel and Michael will be on hand passing hors d'oeuvres on behalf of Genoa and Accanto. We will be joined by other great restaurant outfits such as Beaker and Flask, Olympic Provisions, Tabla, Cheese Bar and more! Proceeds of Indulge benefit p:ear, an organization that builds positive relationships between homeless and transitional youth from ages 15-24. We hope to see some familiar faces there!

Genoa & Accanto Restaurants invite you to a very special evening in support of Basic Rights Oregon’s “Bites for Rights” donate-by-dining event Thursday, June 23rd. Twenty-five percent of proceeds from both restaurants will go directly to support the work being done by B.R.O. to ensure equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgendered Oregonians.

The event kicks off when Accanto opens its doors for Happy Hour at 3pm. Come grab a cocktail, enjoy the incredible Happy Hour Menu and feel great knowing that for every sip you take, you’re donating to the cause.
Feel like giving more? Here are a few other ways to Donate-By-Dining:
Accanto is offering a great 4 course Prix Fixe menu for $25, while just next door at Genoa guests may chose from either a 3 course menu for $40, or enjoy the full 5 course June Menu for $60.
